The Life Of World War I.
They fight the trenches, they fight the gas,
Hoping to god that they will not pass.
Bombs dropping left and right,
The future doesn’t look, very bright.
Fighting a war without thinking,
Some men aren't even blinking.
Machine gun fire, duck and cover,
If only I could see my brother.
Mortors and Airplanes high above,
I miss my family, and its love.
Tanks rolling with sound of thunder,
I wish I could, lose my hunger.
It was too late to grab my mask,
We weren’t prepared for the gas,
Thus I lie here in peace at last.
